Course Extension Policy

Course Extension for Certificate:

Students are governed by the policies and procedures in effect of their course start date. Course start date is based on the date you receive the material. The course contract period is for 6 months.

Students who are unable to complete their course during their course contract period may ask for an extension. You would make this request through your tutor.

Each course may be extended up to 2 times. Each extension is valid for a 3-month period. The first extension is at no cost. You may purchase a second extension which costs $100 (Canadian funds). There is no refund for an extension.

If a course is still incomplete after the second extension the student will have to re-enroll by completing a new registration form and pay the full course tuition fee if they wish to continue.

To Qualify for an Extension:

• You must submit your request 1 month before the course contract period ends. Any requests later than this will not be considered. In such cases you will have to re-enroll by completing a new registration form and pay the full course tuition fee.
• A student must have submitted at least 2 assignments before an extension would be considered.
